Managing sub accounts

In Vitay, sub-accounts function as subsidiaries or branches under a main (parent) company account. They are designed to create separate environments for different teams, departments, or divisions while still allowing shared billing and usage tracking. This setup ensures each branch or department has access only to its own candidates and references, maintaining privacy and data separation within the organization.

Root users in the parent (main) account have full visibility across all sub-accounts they are added to. They can also view aggregated analytics across all accounts, making it easier to track performance and usage organization-wide.

Adding a sub account

To add a sub-account, you must be a root/admin user within the parent account.

  • Navigate to the Configuration Panel, Go to the “Accounts” tab on the far left of the screen.


  • Click the “+” icon at the top right of the page. In the pop-up window, enter the sub-account name and the details of the user responsible for managing it.
    • If the user already has a Vitay account, they’ll be able to access both accounts and switch between them by clicking the company logo in the top right corner.


Tracking Usage

  • From the Overview or Dashboard, you can view:
    • Total usage across all accounts
    • Specific usage per sub-account
