Forgot password or unlocking user accounts

Sometimes we run into issues where we forget our password and could get locked out of our accounts after multiple trials.

Vitay allows you to reset your password or if the account is locked, your company's admin/root user can unlock the account.

To reset your password

There are two options to reset your password

  1. On the logging page, select forgot password > input the email you would like to reset > click submit.

  1. Once logged in, click on your profile at the top right > Go to security and update your password.

To unlock your account

After many attempts, your account gets locked

The admin/root user would go into configurations > users > select the locked account user

Click unlock and reset password highlighted in green
Confirm and Submit
